Oh yeah, I have received all of my books (yay!). I didn’t get them all quite in time. But I camped out in the campus bookstore for a while and read what I needed to read for an assignment. But now I’ve got a whole shelf filled with books, so many books. I can only hope that next semester I don’t need to buy quite so many, that was a hefty chunk of change for one semester’s worth of books.
Study habits, for example, never change (not mine anyway).
Ever since first starting college (back 2001), I’ve been consuming cinnamon bears and hot tamales when studying. Now that I’m back in school, guess what I’m consuming. Go on, guess. Cinnamon bears and hot tamales. There’s just something about their sugary goodness combined with cinnamon flavor that gets me through the long study sessions.
I wish I had a giant jar filled with cinnamon bears just for my studies. But it’s probably better that I buy the small bags and make them last several days. I feel this many cinnamon bears would only result in an upset stomach and a sore tongue, you know, from
over-indulging too much studying.
Stay informed, people. Stay informed.

Oh, and cross your fingers all the textbooks I ordered online instead buying from The Bookstore arrive sooner rather than later 🙂
It’s my baby girl’s very first Birthday!
Ack, I love that little kiddo sooo stinkin’ much! Who knew it was even possible to love somebody that much so quickly? (And yes, I know the answer, all you other parents knew)
Crazy, that year went by too fast. And I definitely didn’t get enough kisses in, don’t get me wrong, I kissed her an awful lot, but not nearly enough. I’m going to have to do better this year 🙂
